Description:
We are presently recruiting an experienced and talented well-rounded architect. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional architectural and design expertise, exposure to building systems, and a proven track record of successful architectural projects production and delivery. Knowledge of traditional architecture is a plus. As a project Architect, you will play a pivotal role in crafting high end projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, working across the globe and ensuring the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and functional architectural solutions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work with the team to develop architectural deliverables and 3D representations.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Develop design options and alternatives for review with senior design staff.
- Research products that meet specific design and construction requirements.
- Insure and perform proper technical detailing and documentation of the projects
- Conduct periodic technical and quality reviews for the design deliverables
- Assist in creating presentations, RFPs for consultants, material suppliers and third parties for projects
- Provides on-going communication through team meetings/minutes/up-date memos.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of professional experience in architectural design, experience in high end residential and / or hospitality projects is preferable.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A keen eye for detailing and review of technical solutions needed in the project
- Knowledge of technical detailing and the basic principles of traditional architecture.
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM and other architectural software in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
